This is the beginning of the main curriculum. At this stage students are introduced to pre-phonics. Also, they review all of the topics that were gone over in the first 2 beginning stages, while taking more time to practice and go in depth. The main themes are repeated throughout the year and the new topics are introduced, practiced, and reviewed over 3 weeks. This course will give a solid foundation of the main concepts and ideas that weilll be repeated throughout the curriculum.
